Jay D. Fischer, the firm's senior partner, is well known to the trial and appellate courts of New York and New Jersey. He serves as lead counsel for clients in other states, including Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Maryland. Mr. Fischer has participated in a number of high profile cases and has represented various national and international businesses. Among his clients are members of the New York and New Jersey judiciary. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Fischer is involved in corporate representation, including participation in transactions involving corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as public offerings of corporate securities. In addition to the federal and state courts of New York and New Jersey, Mr. Fischer is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Military Appeals, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Fischer is a graduate of Columbia University Law School, and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the City College of New York. Among his many distinctions, Mr. Fischer was the first attorney in United States history to sue successfully an international terrorist organization on behalf of a victim.
