Alan C. Thomas focuses his practice on complex litigation matters of all types, including business disputes, fraudulent conduct, employment discrimination and harassment, disputes over estate administration, insurance coverage, personal injury, and products liability. He has been appointed as Special Fiscal Agent in matters before the Chancery Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. Thomas appears regularly in the federal and state courts of New Jersey and the federal courts of New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association Sections on Litigation and on Tort & Insurance Law and of the New Jersey State Bar Association Sections on Civil Practice and on Products Liability. He is also a member of the Bergen County and Essex County Bar Associations. He serves on the adjunct faculty at the Rutgers Law School-Newark and coaches the Appellate Moot Court Team. Before joining the firm, Mr. Thomas was associated with New Jersey's largest and oldest law firm, McCarter & English. He is a graduate of the Rutgers Law School-Newark, where he served as Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Review, and received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He is active with the Equity Committee of the Bergen County Bar Association as well as several Penn alumni clubs and the Rutgers-Newark Law School Alumni Association.
